Carter is later seen wearing Torri Higginson`s previous vest during on offworld mission season 4, episode 16, “Trio,” Colonel Samantha Carter, Dr. Rodney McKay, and Dr. Jennifer Keller fall into an underground Genii mining facility. McKay triggers the fall by stepping on a hollow, weak spot on the surface.
